Italy & Switzerland Car Rental Fees
Rental fees not included in package, payable locally:
- Motorway tax sticker or vignette is required for driving in Switzerland at the cost of 40 Swiss Franc (CHF). The sticker can be purchased at the post office, rest stops areas, or directly at the custom entry point
- Mandatory Snow Chain 8.60 Euros per day with a maximum charge of 43 euro per rental (For rentals from November to April only and may vary based on pick up location.)
- Security pre-authorization charge between 250 - 500 Euros approximately will be charged to the driver's credit card. It will be charged locally, debit cards not accepted
- Optional additional theft, damage, and person accident insurance coverage, exact amount varies based on car type and rental duration
- Additional driver fee 10 Euros per driver per day
- Infant and child car seats 30 Euros per day
- Any fees relating to: fuel, additional rental time, moving violations & parking tickets, insurance deductibles, vehicle malfunction & vehicle damage
- GPS navigator units may be rented for the cost of 18.50 Euros per day. These must be requested locally and are subject to availability at time of vehicle pick-up.
