The 15 day trip to Morocco is unforgettable. I would not have missed it for the world. My husband and I loved the trip. The structure of the trip was clearly thought out and planned beautifully. It gave me a great overview of the people, the culture, the way of live and much more about Morocco that books could not cover. The experience is above and beyond I could ask for. The hotels, the Riads, the Kasbahs were thoughtfully picked, the excursions and the food was a delight. Ibrahim (our guide) was the best, he topped my expectation as a guide. He was conscious of all of the people in the group. Aware of their capacity and their needs i.e. in respect to walking distances and stairs since some of the people in our group were older. He made sure that we were all accommodated. The group that we went with turned out to be awesome. I met some wonderful people. I loved that we had a great mix of intellectual individuals e.g. geologist/archeologist, nurses, professors, lawyer, project managers, etc... the group was a mixture of couples/singles who just want to experience the culture. Ibrahim, knowing this made sure that we all got what we came for and made sure to accommodated all of us. It made the trip worthwhile. The friendship and experiences that I have gained in this trip has been the highlight of this trip. THANK YOU IBRAHIM. THANK YOU GATE 1 for this awesome trip yet again for me. My 2nd time with Gate1. Looking forward to many more and yes, I would recommend to friends, family and colleagues to which I have been since I got back.

This was a great trip!! It's too bad more USA citizens don't realize how wonderful Morrocco is. They are afraid to travel to Muslim countries. This is so sad. As such travel would awaken them to such a warm, beautiful and welcoming country. We had the best guide I have ever had, Larbi. He is intelligent, patient, generous, honest and understands his job thoroughly. He provided us I depth information and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he would find out quickly. We all loved Larbi. Please treat him well as he is a sterling representative for your company. The hotels and food were superb! The only suggestion for improvement I have is one less day in Marrakech and one more day in essaouria. Lovely place!! Thanks so much Gate 1 for a lovely trip! I'm recommending it to all my friends.

The trip was great! Nice balance between lively, intense stops (eg, Fez, Marrakech) followed by tranquil stays (eg, the Sahara, Essouria). The Tour Manager, Sninat, was the best Tour Manager we've had, not just with Gate 1 but with another touring company we've used extensively in the past. You hit a home run!

Our journey to Morocco with Gate 1 Travel Discovery Tours was a phenomenal experience. I have longed dreamed of traveling to Morocco and this tour exceeded all of my expectations. A great deal of credit must be given to our tour guide, Ibrahim, who was masterful in his knowledge of Morocco in every aspect - the history, culture, food and other matters regardless of how minute. We are long time travelers, but have always traveled independently on our travels throughout the world. This was our first escorted tour and I am so pleased that I chose Gate 1 Travel Discovery Tours based on the recommendation of an acquaintance. The pacing was very good and I love the small group size. We were also fortunate to travel with a group of compatible personalities who all enjoyed each others company as well as the tour. I look forward to returning to Morocco in the future and will most certainly travel with Gate 1 Discovery Tours. Thank you!

Our trip to Morocco was great! Very fascinating and educational to learn about the Berber people, their culture, music and dance performances. It was a pleasant experience to have dinner with a Moroccan family in their private home in Fez. The food preparations (cooked vegetable salads with bread, tajine meat dishes and mint tea) were unique in many ways. The tour was really nice - the camel ride, Berber tent and welcome performances at the Sahara Desert, and the Gnawa music/dance. Khalid was an excellent tour guide. It was our first Discovery Tour and we enjoyed touring in a small van with only 10 passengers (including us).

The Moroccan Allure is an exhilarating tour - such a rewarding experience, seeing all those exotic places and meeting different people. First hand, we were able to see how people from different cultures live. Of course, the highlight is the Sahara Desert journey - sleeping under the stars and being able to witness the sunrise and the sunset in the Sahara. Each of the places we stayed offered something unique from each other. I would like to thank and praise Kalid, the driver and the assistant for such terrific service. They were always available whenever we need them. Kalid is in my top list of tour guides I have met thru the years. The Moroccan Allure is one of the best tours I have taken.

Our trip was great. Ibraham was a fantastic guide. He was super organized and managed our group magnificently. I really appreciated that menus with a choice of entree were ordered ahead of time so we did not waste time waiting to be served. I also liked that he included some walking and the bus was waiting for us. He also had room assignments ahead of arrival so we received our keys without a wait. Our hotels and riads were all great. I would highly recommend a Discovery Tour.

It was a most wonderful trip - we were very lucky that there were only 17 of us. We were very fortunate to get a large and comfortable bus where we could change seats as we pleased. Our guide was so patient and knowledgeable. The driver and his assistant very good and caring and the whole experience as I have said before, fantastic! It was our 50th wedding anniversary, and my husband wanted to plan a surprise and something special to celebrate such an important occasion. He spoke to Khalid and Gate 1 graciously provided cake for our celebration and my husband purchased the champagne. It was a delightful moment shared by all of us, my husband, me and all of our traveling companions in a tent on the terrace of the Riad. The staff even sang "Happy Birthday" to our amusement. Thank you for a memorable and wonderful trip!

It was a great trip, one of the best I have been on. The best part of the trip was having Khalid as our tour manager - he was awesome. He made the whole trip invaluable, with his knowledge, his attention to every detail and his great great people skills. He handled everything so to us it was seamless - luggage, meals, hotels etc. It's because of him that I would take more trips with Gate 1 Discovery Tours. I like the small group concept and I only hope there are more Khalids on the Gate 1 staff!

On this trip, I can only give accolades. Hotels...amazing mix; guide Khalid could not have been more informative and accommodating; itinerary...the best of the best, and the food was unbelievably good in some wonderful spaces. I seriously cannot think how this trip could be improved. I particularly liked the pacing. We started strong and as the trip progressed we were given some rest and some down time. A perfect mix. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone and would encourage travelers to seek out your tours, especially the small group options. Our fellow travelers agreed that you did a great job!!! We will be a repeat customer.

Our trip was fabulous. I know this was the first time this tour had been done and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Morocco. There is nothing I would change. Accommodations were unique and comfortable. The experiences were fascinating. Dinners were delicious and varied. Our guide, Khalid was so knowledgeable and did everything he could to meet the individual needs of members of the tour. His command of English is outstanding and he was very personable. Habib was a terrific driver and we loved his assistant, Mustafah, who was always available to help us on and off the bus and to attend to the luggage. We loved the home visit. That was very special. Staying in the riyads in place of big hotels gave us a real taste of the culture. They were all so different and so beautiful. We adored the Villa Mandarine. Based on our experience it is highly likely that we will take another Discovery Tour. The size of the group was just right.

This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. The trip was absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were delightful, the food fantastic and the itinerary interesting and enjoyable. There were some things we did that weren't even mentioned on the itinerary, and that just made it even more delightful, and proved the true quality of the experience. More than anything, Khalid was absolutely fantastic as our guide. He was always upbeat, even though the guests could have tried his patience. He was such a wonderful ambassador for his country, and was so knowledgeable, which really enhanced our experience. We will definitely be taking more Gate 1 Discovery Tours!

This was a totally great tour. I don't do tours, but this was too fine! Thanks for all of your help! Two things. Our guide was Khalid. We could not have had a better guide. His feeling and passion for his country and of explaining his country to us was excellent. Gate1 has a prize! Very seriously, he needs a pay raise! The pace of the tour was good, the hotels great, and the food!!!!!!! Want to also mention Karim. Leaving Morocco he took us to the airport, got us checked in and set us on our way! He took all the worry out of departure!

The Moroccan Allure excursion was beyond our expectations. Please credit our guide/tour director Khalid with enhancing our trip. He was knowledgeable, affable, and concerned with the needs of all in our group. He fit his role perfectly. We enjoyed the food, the pace, the opportunities to shop - or not - and the free time to soak up the ambience of each stop. Morocco has some stunning and spectacular mountain vistas. We were surprised at the well-preserved Roman ruins and mosaics at Volubilis. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean, and in some cases luxurious. The camel ride and evening in the tented camps were very memorable. We were so glad to be participants in our equally appreciative group of twenty.
